LONDON (Reuters) – Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb said on Friday he had made a “spectacular” recovery from a serious illness, which was widely reported to be cancer. The 62-year-old, most famous as a founding member of the disco-era hit machine the Bee Gees, told BBC Radio 2: “Well, it’s all simple. I was diagnosed with a growth in my colon. It was removed. News Americas, INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Mon. Feb. 6, 2012: USVI national and X-Factor winner, Melanie Amaro, made her debut at the Super Bowl Sunday as part of a Pepsi commercial.

The Florida resident appeared opposite singer Elton John. John plays a king waiting to be entertained. He acts bored to death with the contestants until Amaro comes before him and dishes out her new single, a remake of Aretha’s “Respect.”

She then gets out her Pepsi and tells him: “Pepsi for everyone.”
